Sona Sarovar Trust was set up to help slum children so that they do not fall into the trap of illiteracy & poverty. These children are told Moral Stories, taught etiquettes & manners.

 The Trust started coaching classes for them, help them complete their Homework on a day-to-day basis, revise tables, poems etc. During exams, teachers would help them revise questions & answers. We started getting these malnourished children medically checked up, we would provide them with medicines, tonics, get their tests done, provide the spectacles to the needy children.

Trust also provides a Banana, 2  dates, sprouts & energy bars to them regularly. Children are also encouraged to take part in the extra-curriculum activities of their choice. They are taken out for picnics & parties.

Their Birthdays are celebrated on a monthly basis with the result they look forward to coming to the classes. We provide ration & accessories of livelihood for widows with school-going children.

During Pandemic we served food to 4000 Migrant Workers, provided ration to 10000 Daily Wage Earners.

Anand Nagar was declared as Red Zone so we conducted Mass Medical Camp for 3 days.

Positive patients were provided Ambulance for admission in Hospital & quarantined family members were provided with ration kits at their doorsteps.

The health of slum children has improved resulting in higher attendance in school, better grades.

We have started online registration for the vaccination. In order to encourage them to get vaccinated, we have started giving them ration kits.
